For those that liked NationStates

A new, semi-similar game has been developed, based on the gmail map engine. You set out a country precisely where you want it, New York or London and proceed with building it.

In contrary to NationStates that lacked action alltogether, this game actually supports war, and more importantly - nukes. It's in beta1 state yet with only 596 nations enrolled, so there's plentyful of room to expand in. All functions aren't finished yet and currently you mostly struggle against tax breaks and infrastructure costs (and wars for those that please to) - which alone is far more entertaining than NS got after two weeks. C'mon, let's hoard this game as we did last time. Total Annihilation Alliance lives again!

the thing I never liked about nation states (and now cyber nations) is you can only do a tiny bit once a day, only using up a few minutes a day doesn't seem like something worth keeping track of.

There's an exploit, it seems, that gives me $22 per citizen per day. (currently about $1900 per day, exponentially growing).

It took me a little while to realize that the map on front was a jpeg. I kept clicking on it expecting little menus and zooming.

Err n00b... the map is zooming dynamic. Your browser just can't handle it. Install the latest IE or FireFox to get to zoom down to city level.

Oh and by the way, I'm on 100th place on the ranking, completely ignoring the fact that my 3 days old nation completely outclasses the 18+ days countries around it. By this rate I will be among the top 30 in no time. I just bought too many troops, which made my citizens scared, so I had to dismiss most of them (saving for first technology point, which gives +2 happiness, after which I will hoard troops like there's no tomorrow).

Earned $2900 in tax; just like that.

Heh, Alavurra currently has 64 civillians and 8 eight soldiers, and, despite being situated off the coast of America, wants a "a supreme ruler who is in charge or all national matters" and wish to be a purely Islamic nation (nothing against Islam, its just that I prefer a mixed religion where-in people can believe whatever they want to). Its like a mini Iraq, just off the coast of Washigton DC

Still, everyone's British, support me and the nation has a strong economy, so I can't complain
